How to get Pet Snacks

Introduction: Snacks are a very important part of W101, they’re mostly used for pet training and this guide will show you where you can get good pet snacks from.

Packs

The only pack from the Crown Shop that contains good pet snacks is the Mega-Snack Pack, while I don’t recommend buying that pack especially due to it’s cost, it is still an option.

Crafting

Here is a list with all of the Crafted Snacks, the best snack to craft and the easiest for it’s rank is the Golden Wheat Bread pet snack. Both the pristine vials and keen eyes tc’s can be purchasable from vendors and the fish is very easy to get from an aero Village house (via house tours usually).

Gardening

This is the method used by almost everyone, there are multiple plants that give mega pet snacks, but the best two are Evil Magma Peas and Couch Potatoes, both of those plants drop their seed and a mega pet snack guaranteed at elder, plus a lot of sellable stuff.
They can also be purchased from the crowns shop, but I personally recommend farming.

Also, you can find the plants’s likes by clicking the links above, basically likes can vary from a plant to even a house, having multiple likes for a plant will make it grow significantly faster.

Honorable mentions

Deadly Helephant Ears, they drop a mega snack guaranteed (worst than the ones from the plants above) and also drop their seed at elder

Prickly Bear Cactus is a plant that you can purchase for gold, has a chance of dropping their seed and a mega pet snack during both mature and elder harvest.

Maltese Tiger Lily, can be purchased from the Bazaar or gotten as a drop, this plan has a small chance of dropping a Ultra Tiger Lily and a guaranteed mega pet snack at elder.

White Tiger Lily, drops a very good mega pet snack guaranteed and has a chance of dropping a Ultra Tiger Lily, both at elder.

Farming Dungeons

There are 3 main dungeons that are very good at pet snack farming.

  • Mirror Lake, drops 2 Pixie Stix guaranteed at the end of the dungeon, it can also drop stitch/energy gear, one-shot gauntlets and sometimes seasonal items.
  • Waterworks, for this to work you’ll need a team of 4 players (preferably at least a max), and after finishing the last battle, one person leaves the room then enters back and the bosses will respawn, you’d ideally want to kill them during the first trap-allowing rounds. There are some pretty good snacks that can be gotten from there, plus energy gear and mastery amulets.

  • Winterbane, for this dungeon you’ll need at least a team of 3 players, can even be a max and two low lvl alt accs (at least one low lvl is preferred, so the bosses will be easier), with the recent update you can’t enter in them from house tours, so your only option is either having the dungeon or having a friend that has it. All you have to do is get to the two ice bosses (Noma Nettlegut and Gula Firebelly) which can be one-shotted first round with a low lvl wizard present, like the Waterworks works, one player will have to leave the room and come back if there are 3 players in, and two players if there are 4 players in (mega snack not guaranteed, but it has a high drop rate and can drop multiple per fight).

Arena Tickets:

There are a few vendors that do sell snacks for arena tickets ex. Broc Connery, but imo it’s not worth it.
