Most Mounts provide a 40 or 50% Speed Boost which is the main purpose of mounts. However some outstanding mounts also provide some stats alongside the speed boost for your wizard. These mounts are difficult to obtain but will have a huge impact in PVE as well as PVP.
Damage Mounts:
The Ghulture Mounts can be obtained through the Ghulture’s Hoard Pack. The appearance of the ghultures depend on their school. Below you can find an example for the myth and death ghulture.
These ghultures will be a huge blessing in PVE and PVP. Damage is always needed in every situation so getting one is definitely recommended.
A great alternative would be the Battle Narwhal. It can be obtained through the Polarian Explorer's Bundle or Fishing Chests in Polarian Shipwreck. A good alternative is the Battle Havoc Mount obtainable in the Battle Keep Bundle.
The Battle Narwhal is a good alternative to the Ghultures and may be easier to obtain in some cases.
Pierce Mounts
The Vulpine Avenger can be obtained throughout the Avalon Outlaw Bundle. The alternative would be the Clockwork Courser that comes with the Cuckoo Clock Gauntlet.
Especially in PvP this mount will contribute to a great gear set. Don’t miss out your chance to have this furry friend as a mount.
Accuracy Mounts
The Crystal Unicorn can be obtained through the Jewel Crafter’s Bundle. Also it can be dyed in any color you like.
The Crystal Unicorn will be an amazing mount for lower levels that have a tendency to fizzle spells as well as PVP players since some gears do lack accuracy.
Healing Mounts
The Mammoth Mini is available in the Crown Shop. It is also a confirmed drop from Warlord Minak in Polaris.
The Mammoth Mini grants 2% outgoing healing. This is a great pet for life wizards and school with a preference to heal.
Power Pip Mounts
The Roc Mount can be obtained through Sinbad Hoard Pack or as a drop from Metallossus, Time Butterfly and Iron Sultan in the Sinbad Gauntlet.
